The PIP review reports this autumn
The Timms Review is the government's review of PIP. Its interim report in July said PIP is no longer fit for purpose. The final recommendations are due this autumn, and they have to fit within fixed spending limits. Now is the time to tell your MP what you need from it.

Dear [MP's name], I'm your constituent at [postcode]. I'm writing about the Timms Review of Personal Independence Payment, which is due to report this autumn. The review's own interim report found that PIP is valued by disabled people but that the assessment process is stressful and not fit for purpose. I agree, and I want the fix to be a fairer process, not fewer people getting support. [One or two sentences about what PIP pays for in your life, or what the assessment was like.] Please will you: - press the government to make sure the final recommendations do not cut eligibility or awards - ask that disabled people's organisations are involved in deciding what happens next Thank you. I'd be grateful for a reply. [Your name] [Your address]
